Camptys Foundation invites organisations working with disabled people in developing countries to apply for support. We fundraise and carry out collections in the UK and use the donations to help our targeted clilent group.
Eligible organisations include schools, church groups, children's centres, orphanages, hospitals. Other organisations working with disabled people may qualify depending on their remit; such organisations are encouraged to send us a letter of enquiry.
Apply for a Grant
In order to qualify the organisation must be able to prove that it has been operating for a minimum of two years and that it supports at least 20 disabled people at any given moment.
Organisations are asked to download and read the guidelines and complete the application form. Applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent (via the post to the address indicated on our contacts page.
Paying attention to normal develop-mental milestones for toddlers and preschoolers is very important. Early detection of developmental differen-ces may be an early signal of a learning disability and problems that are spotted early can be easier to correct.
A developmental lag might not be considered a symptom of a learning disability until your child is older, but if you recognize it when your child is young, you can intervene early.
Children with learning disabilities can, and do succeed!
It is important to remember that most children with learning disabilities are just as smart as everyone else. They just need to be taught in ways that are tailored to their unique learning styles.
